Sand Birch + Gold Tungsten

Gold color PVD plated tungsten ring with stabilized and dyed "Sand" karelian birch wood inlay protected by completely waterproof and durable acrylic coating. Pictures show 6 and 8mm width designs.

Birchwood in its natural form has light, creamy tones and its fine grain has a classic natural vibe. This wood is a total multitasker, coming anywhere from the Northern Hemisphere and being used for everything from furniture to instruments. Birch trees are all about new beginnings and growth, which is why birchwood is often associated with purity and renewal.

Unlike traditional gold plating, PVD plating ensures longevity, preventing the gold layer from wearing off over time. Plated rings are highly durable but the gold plating may be susceptible to scratching, making these rings more sensitive than raw tungsten counterparts. The plating is surprisingly durable and should take many years to see any sign of scratches. Of course, this also depends on the wearer. Underneath the gold plating, it's good old tungsten carbide, so these rings match the weight of actual solid gold.

Production time is about 90 days for PVD plated rings at the moment since we plate multiple rings from multiple orders for now.
